|
WAYLAY settled off the pace, was roused on the far
turn, swung four wide into the stretch and closed steadily to get up
late. PRACTICE TEE broke outward and bumped with a rival, raced
three wide on the first turn, contested the pace on the outside,
vied three wide on the far turn, inched clear in upper stretch, led
into the final sixteenth but was caught. TRIOFIELD raced five wide
into the first turn then dropped in, was well placed just off the
pace, chased on the far turn, shifted four wide near the
quarter-pole, held a good striking position into the final furlong
but lacked the needed kick and settled for the show. CATRIN stumbled
at the start, moved up to contest the pace between rivals, vied into
the final furlong and weakened. FOREOWONK DOG settled on the inside,
saved ground on both turns and failed to rally. INTERMISSION raced
six then five wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, went
three then four wide on the far turn and failed to respond. RAHY
EXPRESS contested the pace on the inside, dropped out passing the
quarter-pole and gave way. CAPTAIN KITE raced six then five wide on
the first turn, moved up to race just off the pace, came up empty
while five then six wide on the far turn and faded. JETT CITY was
caught seven wide into the first turn, dropped to four wide midway
through that turn, lagged at the rear of the field and showed
little. AFRICAN RAIN was bumped at the start, raced four wide on the
first turn, prompted the pace while under a strong hold, chased four
then five wide on the far turn and stopped. |

turn and safely secured the show. PEACEFUL PROSPECT was urged
along on the inside, saved ground on the turn and came up
empty. STONE COLD KITTY raced well off the pace and failed to
threaten. DRUMS OF THUNDER brushed with a rival at the start,
was urged along on the outside, raced five wide on the turn

drive into the stretch and closed for the lead inside the eighth
pole. MONEYMONEYMONEY rated off the pace and off the rail, eased out
into the lane and closed for place. POLITICAL NONSENSE rated the
pace off the rail, edged away through the turn, was pressured into
the lane then weakened inside the eighth pole. STOLE ANOTHER stalked
the pace to the turn, gave chase from there then weakened in the
stretch. IRON MAN SURPRISE chased the pace from the outside, came
through the turn widest and bid mildly through the lane. DIXIE

|
HEDGEFUND INVESTOR had his heels clipped while
stalking the pace off the rail, made his move inside the pacesetter
nearing the final turn, raced clear approaching the three eighths
pole, widened through the turn then drifted out steadily though held
on. HAWAII CALLS, unhurried inside, started his drive while angling
outward on the final turn, entered the stretch five wide and dueled
for place with a sixteenth to go before leveling off. JACK BE FAST,
unhurried about the three path, advanced four wide on the final turn
then weakened late while being outfinished for place. GLORY CAT
rated off the pace inside, was blocked on the rail through the final
turn, eased out for the drive and finished evenly. HOLY LIMERICK
showed no speed about the four path, bid mildly on the final turn
then leveled off in the lane. REINSTATMENT was outrun. TUMBLE CREEK
rated off the pace and off the rail then faded on the final turn.
CRANBERRY rated the pace inside, bore out through the final turn and
gave way in the stretch. HUMBLE RICK and ROBS WAY were never
factors. PICHIMENTA rated off the pace inside, clipped the heels of
Hedgefund Investor approaching the nine sixteenths pole and fell.
The stewards posted the inquiry to review the incident near the nine
sixteenths pole before declaring this race official.

|
TRIPLEEXPECTATIONS moved to clear control off the
rail approaching the turn then widened with steady stretch
encouragement. CALL HER LADY DAY dropped back from a brief early
lead to stalk the pace inside, eased off the rail leaving the turn
and held on well for place while no threat to the winner. PAM'S GOOD
DEED steadied at the flanks of Yes Its True Shery early, saved
ground through the turn then leveled off in the lane. YES ITS TRUE
SHERY drifted inward early making contact with Believe I'm Great
past the nine sixteenths pole, continued giving chase about the
three path to the top of the lane but leveled off from there. RACHEL
HAY lacked room early, chased the pace nearing the turn, angled out
approaching the quarter pole and finished evenly outside. BELIEVE
I'M GREAT raced with the early pace after a sharp start, was pinched
back passing the nine sixteenths pole and was not a further factor.
DESINNER DEWINNER, a step slow to start, gave chase inside but tired
in the lane. |

inside to engage her entrymate on the turn then weakened slightly.
SARAVA SOUND dropped back early then closed well without menacing.

LAVENDER TOUCH sped to the early lead, set all the
pace a bit off the rail, drifted out a bit in the stretch, kicked
away and just held under urging. MOON O'ER CASHEL chased outside on
the backstretch and turn, came four wide into the stretch and closed
willingly to just miss. SWEET YVETT a bit slow into stride, went up
inside to stalk the pace ,came a bit off the rail in the stretch and
bested the others. AISLEBEBARBIE chased between horses on the
backstretch and turn, split rivals again on the stretch and lacked
the needed rally. MADAME KIAWAH stalked four wide on the
backstretch, continued close up outside on the turn, came four wide
into the stretch and weakened. LOVELY OLIVIA settled off the rail,
angled in early on the turn, was in a bit tight off heels nearing
midway on the bend, came out four wide into the stretch and was not
a threat. JILONA broke alertly but bobbled and came outward, dropped
back outside then alongside a rival leaving the backstretch, angled
in on the turn, was in a bit tight along the rail in deep stretch
and could not offer the necessary response. VILLAGE LADY between
horses early, chased a bit off the rail or outside a rival, swung
out into the stretch, drifted in and did not rally. LION PRINCESS
chased just off the inside then angled in on the turn, was between
foes a sixteenth out and failed to menace. WENDOFFER stalked between
horses then off the rail on the turn, came three deep into the
stretch and weakened. SWISS MARCI was in a good position stalking
the pace between horses then outside a rival on the turn, dropped
back in the stretch and also weakened. PEACE BY PEACE angled in and
pulled between horses early, chased outside or off the rail, came
out four wide into the stretch and was not a factor.

WINCHESTER BAY set the pace through quick
fractions, shook off rivals in upper stretch and held gamely under
strong urging. THEATRICAL'S HALO was fractious in the gate then
reserved off the pace, moved out in upper stretch, rallied between
rivals in the final furlong and closed strongly to just miss.
TRIOFIELD settled on the inside, moved out in upper stretch, closed
strongly in the final furlong and also just missed. LEEWAY was well
placed just off the pace, waited in traffic on the far turn, shifted
four to five wide into the stretch and closed well but missed.
SLEETWORTH tracked the pace, made a bid leaving the backstretch,
vied into the final furlong and weakened. OL' DUMP raced towards the
rear of the field, went three to four wide on the far turn and
improved position. LUCADO raced three wide on the first turn, was
forwardly placed on the outside, made a bid while three wide on the
far turn and gave way. PRACTICE TEE broke inward and bobbled then
bumped with a rival, raced well back in the field and failed to
threaten. DE ICE CAT raced three wide on the first turn, settled off
the pace, was urged along while four wide on the far turn, came five
wide into the stretch and capitulated. BULLET CRANE raced four wide
on the first turn, settled well off the pace, was urged along while
five wide on the far turn and failed to respond. SHAKE A LAKE lagged
well back in the field while near the rail and also failed to
respond. (Rail at 10 Feet) |
