| Race Summary |
|
SPEEDY SPICE broke outward and bumped with a rival,
settled towards the rear of the field, raced three wide early on the
far turn then dropped in, waited behind rivals at the top of the
stretch, rallied inside outside the furlong marker, closed fast to
make a bid passing that marker, battled with MAFITA late and
prevailed under strong right hand urging. MAFITA brushed with a
rival at the start, settled on the inside, shifted four wide inside
the quarter-pole, closed well to make a bid near the furlong marker,
battled with SPEEDY SPICE late and was denied in a game effort. WOKE
UP SMILIN settled off the pace, moved into a good striking position
in upper stretch but weakened and just earned the show. MARTINI
MEADOW raced three wide on the first turn, tracked the pace, engaged
the leader on the far turn, vied into the final furlong and gave
way. KUTTER CREEK bumped with a rival at the start, raced three wide
on the first turn, settled in the middle of the field, chased on the
far turn, came three wide into the stretch, lugged in while in
striking position entering the final furlong and also weakened.
MELODY OF VICTORIA brushed with a rival at the start, set the clear
pace, was challenged on the far turn, battled into the final furlong
and tired. SOPHANDA settled in the middle of the field, shifted five
wide near the quarter-pole, ducked out sharply nearing the furlong
marker then came up empty. LETSALLDRINKTOTHAT bumped with a rival at
the start, was well placed just off the pace, came up empty on the
far turn and faded. PULL OVER PARIS raced well back in the field,
came three wide into the stretch and was no factor. PAT'S BREW
bumped with a rival at the start, settled on the inside, steadied
and lost position entering the far turn then failed to respond. LIL
BIT OF HEAVEN lagged at the rear of the field, came five wide into
the stretch and was no factor. LONE STAR MAGIC raced three wide on
the first turn, made a strong middle move, came up empty while four
wide on the far turn and stopped. (Rail at 10 Feet)
