|
CAMPFIRE COFFEE dueled for the lead, edged clear at
the top of the stretch and drew away under strong urging.

along while well off the pace, swung five wide into the stretch and
finished willingly for the place. WILD WEST WIND dueled on the
inside, vied into the stretch and tired while clear for the show.
LITTLE STONEY broke outward at the start, moved in while chasing the
pace, steadied outside the quarter-pole and came up empty. ABBOTS
ABBIE broke awkwardly then was forced in, was ridden along on the
inside, saved ground on the turn and failed to threaten. ADMIRAL WIT
chased the pace, came three wide into the stretch and capitulated.
STEVE'S WON ACROSS broke outward and hit the gate, pressed the pace
on the outside, vied four wide on the turn, came five wide into the
stretch and weakened. AGGIE COLORS pressed the pace between rivals,
vied three wide on the turn, came four wide into the stretch and
gave way. KING OF KIRBY broke awkwardly then was ridden along while
off the pace, was in tight midway down the backstretch, raced three
then four wide on the turn, moved to five wide near the
quarter-pole, came seven wide into the stretch and also gave way.
DISTINCTIVE MRBEND broke inward at the start, was ridden along near
the back, raced three to four wide on the turn and showed little.
PREFERRED DANCER was fractious in the gate, raced four wide on the
turn and was outrun. MY PROGRAM jostled with a rival after the start
and was always outrun. TULSA ROAD was ridden along near the inside
and faltered then was eased in the stretch but walked off.
