| Race Summary |
|
VALID ID. broke inward at the start, chased the
pace, engaged the leaders while three wide on the turn, edged clear
at the top of the stretch, remained clear into the final furlong and
held while drifting out a bit under right hand urging. CHIMES
COUNTDOWN broke inward at the start, lacked room in traffic early,
raced off the pace, moved closer on the turn, swung five wide into
the stretch and closed well but just missed. COAHUILA was forced in
at the start, chased the pace, raced three then four wide on the
turn, held a good striking position into the final furlong but
lacked the needed response while clear for the show. DON ROJO broke
inward and bumped with a rival, was urged along towards the front of
the field, came three wide into the stretch and weakened. KINGS
AFFAIR moved up then took the lead, vied between rivals on the turn
and tired. CAMPFIRE COFFEE broke in the air, raced well back in the
field, went three wide early on the turn then dropped in and failed
to threaten. MEADOWS WEST was bumped at the start and forced in then
slow into stride, steadied a bit while in tight midway down the
backstretch, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. STEVE'S WON
ACROSS chased the pace, raced three to four wide on the turn and
tired. JOE THE INDIAN broke inward and a bit slow, lacked room
early, saved ground towards the rear of the field and was no factor.
PINWIT bobbled at the start but broke quickly, showed good speed,
vied inside on the turn and faded. GENEROUS CRUSADER chased the pace
on the outside, raced four to five wide on the turn and stopped.
FLAME JUMPER was off slow, spotted the field several lengths and
trailed. |
