| Race Summary |
|
SPICY DUBAI was unhurried early then circled horses
into the stretch and ran down the leader in the late stages. CODE OF
HONOUR broke alertly, saved ground setting the pace and was not
quite good enough for the winner late. OUT AT NIGHT was forwardly
placed racing between rivals, awaited room on the far turn then
finished willingly. KEAL saved ground stalking the pace and lacked
the needed closing response. GIANT TALENT prompted the pace to the
stretch then faded in the drive. DECAF AGAIN raced close up outside
rivals then weakened in the drive. PIT ALLEY was boxed in along the
inside rail on the far turn. ON JOLINE showed little.

|
SLIEVE CENTURY moved up outside rivals on the far
turn then was under strong handling to run down the leaders and edge
clear late. TWISTER CROSSING, well placed racing close up outside,
moved up leaving the far turn and loomed boldly in the stretch but
was not good enough. CHASE MY HEELS, well placed racing close up
inside, was no match for the top two. CASEY'S EMBLEM prompted the
pace two wide, moved to challenge on the far turn then faded in the
drive. FINAL STRAW failed to menace. GRAND PAL saved ground setting
the pace for six furlongs then weakened. MISTY SURPRISE showed
little. ACROSS tired. |
