| Race Summary |
|
YANKEE VICTORIA was well placed racing close up
along the inside, ran down the leader with a furlong remaining then
held rival safe. EARLE'S FIRST GIRL was unhurried early then
finished with good energy but was too late. SENTEBALE broke sharp to
set the pace while saving ground and gave way grudgingly. SHE'S
GOLDEN prompted the pace and lacked the needed rally. WRIGGLE saved
ground to little avail. PISSARRO prompted the early pace and
weakened. DEBBIE'S DIAMOND was through early.

|
SALINO broke outward at the start, pressed the pace
on the outside, took the lead while lugging out a bit on the turn,
inched clear into the final furlong and was fully extended to last
under strong right hand urging. FRESH moved in near the half-mile
pole then was well placed on the inside, dropped back midway through
the turn, moved out at the top of the stretch, rallied into the
final furlong and closed well but just missed. SABRA was well placed
just off the pace, came three wide into the stretch, loomed a threat
in the final furlong but lacked the needed kick and settled for the
show. SEVENDAYSMAKEAWEEK was urged along while off the pace, raced
three then four wide on the turn, held a good striking position into
the final furlong but also lacked the needed kick. IDEAL VICTORY was
ridden along while off the pace, moved out near the half-mile pole,
raced three to four wide on the turn and failed to rally. SUPERIOR
THIEF set the pace under pressure, lost the lead midway through the
turn and gave way. SPRING OF LIFE raced well back in the field, was
in a bit tight near the half-mile pole, saved ground on the turn and
failed to threaten. STORMY FUSE broke a bit slow, was forced out
near the half-mile pole, raced four to five wide on the turn and was
no factor. |

CRANBERRY broke alertly, set a moderate pace, shook
clear after six furlongs then just lasted late. BODYSHOTS was slow
to settle, fanned four side out of the second turn then finished
willingly outside the winner to just miss. EDGE APPEAL stalked the
pace early, bid after five furlongs then weakened in the drive.
SONREA chased early, bid four wide then flattened out. DEPUTY WANTED
saved ground but had no rally. SLIEVE CENTURY was no factor. GULCH
POINT showed little. CAREERIST stopped. |

|
STORMY EXPLOSION contested the pace on the inside,
inched clear on the far turn and drew away under strong urging.
DANCE TIL SIX bumped with a rival at the start, settled near the
inside, waited behind traffic on the far turn, moved in a bit at the
top of the stretch and got up for the place. DIVA D'ORO raced three
wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along while
three to four wide on the far turn and lacked the needed response.
MISS KEOKUK was reserved near the back, lost position midway through
the far turn and failed to threaten. CARO CITY LIGHTS was rated
while a bit rank, saved ground into the stretch and came up empty.
TIGERTUDE broke a bit slow, raced four then five wide on the first
turn, moved up early on the backstretch, settled just off the pace,
chased three wide on the far turn and also came up empty. EASY FOR
ME literally walked out of the gate, spotted the field around
fifteen lengths, lagged well behind and was no factor. STORMY LYRIC
contested the pace on the outside, came up empty on the far turn and
faded. DOUBLE CRISP broke inward and bumped with a rival, raced
three then four wide on the first turn, moved up early on the
backstretch, tracked the pace, came up empty on the far turn and
stopped. (Rail at 10 Feet) |

RARE FLYER was well placed just off the pace, saved
ground on the far turn, moved out at the top of the stretch and
closed gradually to get up near the wire. HUNTERSRUNAWAY settled in
the middle of the field while near the rail, moved out in upper

the rail on the first turn, set the pace, vied inside on the far
turn, held a clear lead into the final furlong but tired and was
overtaken. CUTBANK raced three wide on the first turn, chased the
pace and weakened then went evenly late. JUSTWILL brushed with a
rival at the start, bumped with TRIOFIELD and savaged that rival
early on the first turn, settled well off the pace, was roused on
the far turn and lacked the needed rally. TRIOFIELD bumped with
JUSTWILL early on the first turn, raced three then four wide on that
turn, was urged along in middle of the field, shifted four wide near
the quarter-pole then dropped to three wide entering the stretch and
failed to rally. CAPTAIN KITE raced four to five wide on the turns
and was outrun. ELOQUICK raced four wide on the first turn, was
forwardly placed on the outside, chased three then four wide on the
far turn and faded. CUT THE STAR hit the gate at the start, was

FRIES broke alertly to control the issue and proved
clearly best under a mild drive. MY HEART SKIPS made a run into the
stretch and finished well to best the others. CAPTAIN'S CREW
prompted the pace then weakened in the drive and held on for third.
CALLING ALL SAINTS was unhurried early then rallied mildly. TUMBLE
CREEK was forwardly placed then faded in the drive. JOR EL lacked a
solid rally. ANOTHER MANUEL R. showed little. RISING OF THE MOON
tired from his early effort. GLORY CAT tired. JOHNNY WONDER was
through early. NICE ALEX showed little. |

STALKER, never far back, responded well in the drive. NEWPORT failed
to menace with a late bid outside horses. RELENTLESS GEORGE failed
to threaten. BURGEE showed little. COMIC saved ground setting the
pace then weakened in the drive. RO'S SOCCER BOY tired. ORIGINAL RAY
tired. MARVIN GILES refused to break. A stewards inquiry was

stalked the pace then moved to the lead a quarter mile out ten was
not good enough. PERFECTLY PLEASANT was well placed within easy

solid rally. DIXIE JOY failed to threaten. EXCUSE ME shared the
early lead then showed the way through the far turn and weakened.
