Race Summary

OUR DANCER chased the leader early, bid in the second turn to gain a short lead then continued gamely through a long drive and was all out to narrowly prevail. SONG CYCLE made an inside middle move, angled off the rail in the drive then finished willingly to just miss. DISGUISE came in slightly into the first turn, set a slow pace then resisted to the final furlong before weakening. DECAF AGAIN looped five wide moving to contention out of the second turn but failed to sustain that rally. MY BOY BLUE was well placed for six furlongs then faded. HONOLUA STORM was taken up inside DISGUISE into the first turn. BOGANGLES trailed.

Race Summary

OUR TRUCK raced four then three wide on the first turn, was rated under a snug hold, came under a ride midway through the far turn, shifted four wide passing the quarter-pole, closed well to make a bid near the eighth-pole, battled gamely in the final furlong and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. CATRIN raced three wide on the first turn, was rated on the outside, drew even near the seven-sixteenths pole, vied four then three wide on the far turn, battled gamely between rivals in the stretch and just missed. TRIOFIELD was reserved at the back of the compact field, shifted five wide near the quarter-pole, rallied in upper stretch and closed well but also just missed. RARE FLYER was rated just off the pace, vied between rivals on the far turn, battled determinedly in the stretch but was outfinished late. ELOQUICK was last away then hustled to the lead, set the pace while off the rail, vied inside of rivals on the far turn, dropped to the rail near the quarter-pole, battled into the final furlong then gave way. CAPTAIN KITE was fractious in the gate, settled on the inside, saved ground on both turns and came up empty. DONERAILE'S PEAK jostled with a rival after the start, settled just off the pace and dropped out.
