Race Summary

MITEYLIKEAROSE jostled with a rival at the start, showed early speed then settled off the pace, came under a ride while three wide on the far turn, rallied into the final furlong, closed well to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then inched clear under good handling. FLY SO OPEN raced four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was urged along while three to four wide on the far turn and finished willingly for the place. SLEETWORTH sprinted clear on the first turn, set the pace through solid fractions, led into the final furlong then weakened and was overtaken. BONJURNOSE raced three wide on the first turn, was urged along while off the pace and finished willingly but missed the minor awards. SPOONERISM broke a bit slow, settled in the middle of the field while saving ground, was hard ridden on the far turn, moved into striking range in upper stretch and finished willingly but lacked the needed kick. SHOCKPROOF broke a bit slow, lingered towards the rear and lacked the needed response. GENERAL HONORE jostled with a rival at the start, raced well back in the field, went three wide on the far turn and showed little.
