Race Summary

SKY MISSION vied up front along the rail, headed in the turn, continued to do battle past the furlong marker, came back late. MARCERN off the pace, advanced along the inside, switched out when straightened for home, lost whip a sixteenth out, finished up willingly. AFRICAN STORM broke well, set or forced the early pace off the inside, put a head in front in the turn, continued to show the way late, faltered in the final strides while between the top two. MY BOY BLUE settled off the pace, four wide into the stretch, improved slightly while not a serious threat. CAPITOL LIMITED saved ground into the turn, moved out to be three wide out of the bend, lacked a late rally. JUMP TO START off a bit slow, trailed early, picked off some tiring foes. KAWANGO tired from early efforts after racing four wide through the turn. PLENTY O'JACK forwardly placed, steadied when in a bit tight into the turn, lacked a late response. G FROST through early, trailed home.

Race Summary

GENERAL PARKS was allowed to settle in the early going while racing two wide, rallied two wide on the far turn then moved out to be four wide in upper stretch then dug in gamely in the stretch and was all out to prevail in the final stride. TRIOFIELD was settled in the early going and kept to the inside on the run down the backstretch, rallied on the far turn and saved ground then came out to be three wide in upper stretch and was in a strong drive but just missed in the final stride. HEZA TWELTH MAN was hustled along from the outside and set a pressured pace while racing two wide, was in a long drive then weakened in late stretch. TUCKLINO pressed the pace while inside, was hard used to stay in contention on the turn then weakened in late stretch. BENGAL TRADER was unhurried early then rallied four wide on the far turn making a bid then flattened out in the stretch drive. MR. DOUG MAGEE was unhurried early then rallied five wide on the far turn making a strong bid but came up empty in the drive. KAYLA'S MAGIC was hustled along on the first turn then was well placed while racing three wide on the backstretch, bore out on the far turn then faltered in the stretch drive. PARADE FOR PEACE was on the inside then swung out to be five wide in upper stretch but was no threat in the stretch. THUNDERING CLOUDS was unhurried early and was no factor. TWO BUCK LUCK was chasing the early pace, was through after a half and stopped. LA GENT broke slowly from the gate and was outrun.

Race Summary

TRIPLE AXEL with the pace from the start while off the inside, shook clear turning for home, held late. HELLO SAILOR never far back, raced five wide into the turn, asked for the drive, lugged in, gaining. MY BOY BLUE saved ground well back off the pace, finished willingly to prove determined for the show. H K'S VICTORY lacked speed, also raced toward the inside, some late interest, outfinished for the show. GRAY MIGHT lacked early foot, swung out to be six wide for the drive, flattened out some in the drive. NOT A ROCKET vied in the three path for a half, faltered. OUT AT NIGHT had little for the drive. WONDER NO MORE raced along the inside, steadied slightly into the turn, faded through stretch. BIG RED BARS last away, trailed well back, picked off a couple of tiring foes. IZZY GOLDEN with the pace for just over a quarter, faded. GARRET'S PROSPECT stopped.
