BUSHY'S YIELD made a middle move through the turn,
angled out five wide for the drive then rallied past the leaders
leaving the furlong marker to be along in time. HOLY MACKREL ANDY
chased the leaders early, bid in the furlong grounds but couldn't
stay with the winner while outfinishing the rest. PITCHER AT MABEL'S
was well placed then was gaining some ground late. RAHAL stalked the
pace for a half, split rivals in the drive to gain a short lead then
gave way. PLEASANT THOUGHTS set a solid pace then weakened in the
final furlong. TYNDALE was through after a half. SIR OZ was through
early. TEDA'STUFFSOLDIER was no factor. NONFICTION showed little.

|
BAR FLY BLUES raced in traffic around the turn then
split rivals in midstretch, moved to the inside and closed gamely to
get up final strides. LITTLE BANG broke sharp to set the pace and
held on gamely to the end. CHINCHILLA was outrun early then
responded well in the drive to close the gap. CALL HER LADY DAY
showed speed from the outset and lacked the needed closing response.
RAHY'S THIEF raced close up along the inside and gave way
grudgingly. PARQUET raced within striking distance and lacked the
needed rally. SUNDAY GEISHA was roughed at the start then continued
well. FLAVOR OF THE DAY failed to threaten. A SOLDIER'S STAR tired
from her early effort. |

SQUALLCREEK pulled between horses, was bumped and
forced out nearing the first turn, stalked off the rail then bid
outside the runner-up, dueled for the lead, gained the advantage in
the stretch and proved best under urging. RIVERGRADE BOY took the
early lead and angled in, set a pressured pace inside, fought back
through the stretch and continued willingly, then was unsaddled a
pole from the wire but walked off. CEE BARGARA (GB) pulled his way
along and steadied into the first turn, chased a bit off the rail,
split horses on the second turn, came out in the stretch and just
got the show. ENACTMENT (GB) angled in and stalked inside then a bit
off the rail on the second turn and in the stretch and lost third
late. LUCKY HONEY wide early, angled in a bit off the rail, came out
leaving the second turn and four wide into the stretch and found his
best stride late. WILD AND READY steadied and forced out into the
first turn, chased between horses then a bit off the rail leaving
the second turn, found the fence in the stretch and lacked the
needed response. GUTS angled in and settled inside, came out on the
second turn and four wide into the stretch and could not summon the
necessary response. RHETORICALLY pulled early, was forced out into
the first turn, chased three deep and weakened in the stretch. THREE
PARK NIGHT saved ground stalking the pace, dropped back on the
second turn and weakened. SODA POP KID pulled early, came out onto
the winner nearing the first turn, steadied and came out again into
that turn, chased outside then three deep and had little left for
the stretch. |

|

|
JO JO D. raced five wide on the first turn, stalked
the pace on the outside, moved to the lead midway down the
backstretch, edged clear with a half-mile to run, drew off while off
the rail on the far turn and proved much the best under a strong
drive. CUTACROSS MOLLY bobbled at the start then jostled with a
rival, raced three wide on the first turn, was well placed just off
the pace, came between rivals passing the half-mile pole, saved
ground on the far turn and secured the place while no match for the
winner. PRIVATE TONE broke outward at the start, was reserved while
five wide on the first turn, settled outside on the backstretch, was
ridden along while three wide on the far turn, dropped to one off
the rail near the quarter-pole and was best of the rest. I. T. ERMA
raced three to four wide on the first turn, was ridden along on the
backstretch, went four wide on the far turn and improved position
without threatening. TROUBLE ZONE was forwardly placed, raced three
wide on the far turn and faded. ROXY ROSE raced three wide on the
first turn, was urged along on the backstretch, steadied entering
the far turn, went three wide on that turn and was no factor. GOLDIE
GOLD was away awkwardly, raced well back in the field and showed
little. PONYTAIL GIRL jostled with a rival at the start then was in
tight, raced up close while urged along and retreated. AS LONG AS
SHEWINS raced four then three wide on the first turn, was through
early and also retreated. NEON DOLL was hustled to the lead, set the
pace, relinquished the lead midway down the backstretch and stopped.

ON THE ROCKS circled rivals leaving the far turn
then drew off under steady urging to prove best. PITCHER AT MABEL'S,
well placed close to the pace, held on well for second. SUDDEN
CONCERN, unhurried early, rallied outside rivals into the stretch
and finished well. RED CRAFTY was steadied behind horses on the far
turn then lacked the needed rally. FIORE DE was forwardly placed
then weakened in the drive. POLAMALU lacked a solid rally. R TOWN
LEADER saved ground disputing the pace and weakened. MAJOR HEALEY
vied for the early lead and tired. RASSER tired. EXPLOSIVE COLONY
showed little. |

CLASSIC TROUBLE trailed for half, circled leaving
far turn, five wide into stretch, finished with a strong mid track
rally to get up in time in a blanket finish. SPECIAL TOPICS allowed
to settle early, swung four wide when making bid into stretch,
rallied between rivals, just missed in a game effort. MARCO DE
ESPERANZA rallied from middle of pack along rail to gain slight nod
mid stretch, went gamely to wire only to be outfinished in a game
try. FAVORITE JAZZ was never far back, rallied along rail, just
missed getting to top trio and finished on even terms for fourth
position. OH OLEG chased pace from start, came three wide into
stretch, rallied between rivals in late going, finishing in a
blanket photo and on even terms for fourth position. BEAU NAMED SUE
in back for half, finished with a solid belated mid track rally.
SCREEN WRITER stalked pace into stretch, tired in drive. THANKS MR G
hustled to front, set pace for half, gave way in lane. SPOONERISM
failed to menace racing along inside. YOURMONEYSNOGOOD forwardly
positioned into stretch, faded. |
