inside, vied into the final furlong and tired. BORDER TOWN was in
tight on the first turn, raced in the middle of the field and
dropped out. WILD BLITZ contested the pace on the outside, vied into

| Race Summary |
|
DANA'S BELL broke sharply and opened up through the
turn and held on late. DONALI was fractious in the gate, chased the
pace the entire was and was closing too late. OH SO BLUE raced in
the second flight and chased the leaders while inside but was no
match for the top two. GREAT STICKER stumbled badly at the start,
was squeezed in the turn and made a mild rally late. LA DURAN was
wide throughout and made a mild rally late. WINDY CITY GAL was void
of early speed, split horses on her run down the backstretch and
made a steady gain. FAT CAT BERTIE hit the gate at the start, showed
no speed and was no threat. CENTURY GIRL was gaining along the
backstretch after a slow start, steadied into the turn and faded. IN
A TIZ raced in the middle of the pack, moved five wide through the
turn and tired. MISS RUSTER raced close up for a half and faded.
MOLLEE SEA took up at the start, was rushed up along the inside and
stopped. |

SALUTE THE SARGE stalked between horses then
outside a rival, went three deep on the turn and into the stretch
and rallied under some urging to get up late. SLAM SLEW had speed
between horses then stalked off the rail on the turn, re-bid
alongside a rival in the stretch, gained the advantage past the
eighth pole and continued willingly but was caught late. BANANA BOAT
JOE a bit slow to begin, chased just off the rail then between
horses, split rivals in the stretch and gained the show. FOLLOWS
NONE chased outside then three deep on the turn and into the stretch
and could not offer the necessary rally. LAKE MEZA stalked inside,
steadied in tight off heels into the turn, came out in the stretch
and lacked the needed late kick. TRACTON'S GOLDEN close up stalking
the pace inside, was boxed in off heels and lacked room in
midstretch, came out and could not summon the necessary late
response. OVEREXTENDED a bit slow to begin, settled off the rail,
angled in some in the stretch and found his best stride late.
CAPTAIN QUICK sped to the early lead, dueled off the rail, inched
away and angled in on the turn, fought back in midstretch but
weakened. GOOD MAN DAN prompted the pace three deep then stalked
outside on the turn and weakened in the stretch. THREE PARK NIGHT
settled off the rail, angled in on the turn, found the rail in the
stretch and lacked a further response. |
