STORMY AND BOLD raced within contention, made a bid, then faded.
TINYBANKER raced in the back of the pack in the early part, improved
position, but was no factor. KENNY'S SLEW BABY bobbled at the start,
vied for the lead, saved ground around the final turn and faded.

was no threat. TOOLIGHTTOQUITLADY pressed the early pace and was
finished early. LIL MISS BUSTER raced within contention, came around
the first turn four wide and retreated. |

| Race Summary |
|
SHIFT TIME went up early to vie for the lead
outside CATIT three or four wide, took over a quarter-mile out, then
was hard ridden the remainder. CAJUN MON drifted out at the start,
was unhurried three or four wide, ranged up outside the winner five
wide leaving the eighth pole and wasn't good enough. MARIANAS, never
far back, raced inside, loomed prominently from the rail for the
last eighth and came up empty. MEAN BUSINESS bobbled at the start,
tracked the pace four wide into the stretch and flattened out.
POSSUM broke slowly in the air, bobbled when landing and never
menaced. CATIT gained a slim lead early while dueling two wide,
battled with the winner to the final quarter and gave way readily.

CURSORA (ARG) went up early to track front-running
KEYS under light rating, inched to challenge that one nearing the
stretch, gained the edge about the sixteenth pole and was hard
ridden the remainder. KEYS gained the edge inside early, went along
under careful handling, was engaged by the winner nearing the
stretch, was headed by that one a sixteenth out and held on
stubbornly the remainder. WRAPPED UP IN YOU, well placed in behind
the top two from early on, eased out between foes four wide, then
couldn't make up the difference. LEGISLADY settled near the inside
early, was never far back, remained near the rail in the late going
and couldn't produce the needed response. QUIERO GANAR raced within
easy striking distance while tracking the leaders five wide, loomed
menacingly for the final furlong but came up empty. MOON BERRY (BRZ)
raced within easy striking distance four wide to the upper stretch
and flattened out. LADYBURN maneuvered in three wide on the
backstretch, inched up on the far turn, came out six wide for the
drive but lacked a serious bid. MISS LAKEN raced near the inside
from early on and never threatened. AIMER, reserved three wide
early, came out five or six wide leaving the second turn but never
fired. |
