Race Summary

CAJUN MON swerved in sharply after the start, lagged back down the backstretch, made a steady advance around the far turn, angled out a bit at quarter pole nudging SON OF THE WEST out then was ridden out to the wire as much the best. MARIANAS was hard used from the outset to set a pressured pace, held well to deep stretch but weakened in the drive while no match. ROCKHOUSE ROCKET pressured the pacesetter to deep stretch and weakened late. NI KEL WILLY unhurried early, moved inside for the drive then had nothing left for the drive. SON OF THE WEST up close from inside, angled out into the turn, was forced out a bit by the winner when he came out for the drive, angled back in and was empty for the drive. MR BLACKSTONE was never a threat. DEVIL DAWG well placed while never far back but lacked the late response needed. MARINA KING had a steady fade.
