HOSTILE chased the pace, saved ground while just off heels on the turn, moved out at the top of the stretch, closed well to make a bid entering the final furlong, led into the final sixteenth and held under strong urging. HEBER VALLEY was ridden along while off the pace, dropped to the rail nearing the quarter-pole, rallied in the final furlong, moved out late and finished fast. TUMMY TICKLE was a bit reluctant to load, broke inward then showed good speed, crossed over entering the turn, dictated terms through the turn, lost the lead inside the furlong marker and weakened while able to hold the show. COMINGFROMBEHIND was reluctant to load then broke slow, advanced on the outside, chased four to five wide on the turn, loomed a threat into the final furlong but tired and missed the show. EARLY ROCKIN hesitated at the start then was forced in, was ridden along while off the pace and failed to threaten. WHAT R U THINKING broke a bit slow, came three wide into the stretch and was no factor. FROSTY DOC chased the pace between rivals and faded. SUNNY EXPECTS chased the pace, raced three to four wide on the turn, steadied passing the quarter-pole and dropped out. PIKE CITY PETE ducked in at the start, saved ground at the back of the field and never reached contention. |
