throughout the stretch and weakened in deep stretch. BROTHER NORM
chased the early pace while racing two wide, failed to respond when

gave way in the stretch. ISSHEADEMON raced three wide on the turn
and was no factor. KING OF FREE raced on the inside on the turn and

| Race Summary |
|
GROOMSMAN chased the pace on the outside, shifted
out in upper stretch and closed strongly to win going away. STORMY
DATE unseated the rider and ran loose during the post-parade, dueled
on the outside, bumped hard with STORMY WEDDING while three wide
midway through the turn, edged clear passing the quarter-pole,
drifted in passing the eighth-pole and was overtaken. STORMY WEDDING
dueled on the inside of STORMY DATE while off the rail, bumped hard
with that rival midway through the turn, chased into upper stretch,
had his path taken passing the furlong marker and weakened while
well clear for the show. WISHINSKI chased the pace on the inside,
saved ground on the turn and tired. DOWNTOWN JONES drifted in early,
dropped back while hard ridden, raced off the rail on the turn,
shifted four wide near the quarter-pole and failed to threaten.
BRAD'S SONG veered in at the start and bumped with a rival, trailed
the field while off the rail and was no factor then was unsaddled
near the seven-eighths pole but walked off. ITRON EXPRESS was
recalcitrant behind the gate and very reluctant to load, checked
while shut-off at the start, raced three wide on the turn and never
reached contention. After the race, the stewards' conducted an
inquiry concerning the second and third place finishers. Following
the review, there was no change made to the order of finish.

of the stretch, battled back gamely in the final furlong and

second, took the lead at the top of the stretch, battled with STORMY
WEDDING in the final furlong and was outfinished while clear for the

the turn and came up empty while able to get the show. LAMBADA was
beaten for early speed, raced off the rail on the turn and lacked
the needed response. RARE FLYER was off slow, raced well back in the
field while just off the rail, moved out near the furlong marker and
failed to threaten. BAILEYS GULCH was hard ridden on the outside,
raced five wide on the turn and was no factor. UNCLE BUBBA broke a
bit slow then quickly dropped back, raced near the rail on the turn
and showed little. MALABAR SLEW was off slow, moved up into the
