MORE COWBELL outrun early, angled out four wide late on the second turn when rallying and closed well to be clear. POE REEF within striking distance, made a quick four wide move on the second turn, challenged entering the stretch, gained a short lead with a furlong to go and held on gamely. YOUR PRINCE closest to the pace, drifted in in midstretch placing PATTERN OF VICTORY in tight then weakened. IMPLY within striking distance, raced three wide on the second turn, lacked clear room with a quarter mile to go then had no late bid. Race Summary

CORVINUS raced inside to the drive, eased out in upper stretch, rallied outside SIR JAZZ inside the final furlong, gained the edge and then prevailed. JUMP 'IEN devoid speed, split foes around the second turn, angled out for the drive, rallied outside CORVINUS and was outfinished. ROYAL WAR ACADEMY unhurried, moved up a bit around the second turn, lacked room nearing the drive, split foes in upper stretch, was in tight again inside the furlong marker and finished well when clear late. KENTUCKY MAGIC settled off the rail, bid outside for the drive and closed mildly. SIR JAZZ forced the pace outside ONE BRAVO FIVE until the drive, shook clear before mid stretch and then faltered late. ALABAMA GOLD unhurried, moved up for the drive and then failed to sustain his bid. SPIRITON within striking distance, had no response. ONE BRAVO FIVE set a pressured pace to the drive and then gave way. ROCK GOLD raced inside to the drive, moved out and was no factor. PUSHED FOR TIME raced wide and was not a threat. FIXED INCOME was always outrun. OVIE vied for the lead three wide until the second turn and then stopped.

TACTICAL JOE clear early, was headed by WINYAH midway down the backstretch, fought back from the inside after turning for home, exchanged bumps with that one and prevailed. WINYAH stalked TACTICAL JOE from early on, gained the edge down the backstretch, exchanged bumps with the winner in the lane and was no match late. PUSHED FOR TIME bumped after the break, settled while outrun early, moved to the rail around the first turn, continued inside to rally and was best of the rest. ROYALE WITH SPEED reserved early, improved position. ASKEEBOY bothered at the break, showed late interest. ROCKET STRIKE veered in at the break bothering inner foes, was outrun. TROUBLE showed speed to the drive and then faltered. WEST COAST OFFENSE bobbled after the break, raced forward to the drive and then weakened. WADI SUKI settled off the rail and had no response. I'M J S was never dangerous.
