Race Summary

LA ESTRELLITA was away awkwardly, settled towards the rear of the field, shifted five wide nearing the five-sixteenths pole, continued five wide into the stretch, closed well while lugging in and prevailed under left hand urging. TOOSWEETFORWORDS settled on the inside, moved off the rail near the quarter-pole, came three wide into the stretch, shifted out near the furlong marker and closed well but failed to overtake the winner. DANZIG QUEEN set the pace through moderate fractions, responded well when set down on the far turn, lost the lead near the sixteenth-pole and weakened while able to hold the show. MARGARITA MISTRESS was well placed just off the pace, chased while off the rail on the far turn and came up empty. GOLD FOLLEY bumped with a rival at the start, raced three to four wide on the first turn, was forwardly placed on the outside, chased three wide on the far turn, drifted four wide into the stretch and gave way. MADISON COUNTYGIRL broke outward and jostled with a rival, was rated just behind the leader, chased while saving ground on the far turn and also came up empty. DANCEWITHMEHONEY raced three wide on the first turn, lingered towards the rear of the field, saved ground on the far turn and failed to rally.
