Race Summary

BOB AND RICH, never far back and six wide early, was put to a drive three furlongs out, continued well off the inside and was hard ridden in the drive. SYDACIOUS, up close between horses five wide from the beginning, gained the edge in the upper stretch, then couldn't handle the winner in the late going. THE UNBELIEVABLE, within easy striking distance and along the inside, made a bold bid to reach the front at the quarter-mile ground but couldn't sustain the needed momentum. DRIFT'N SOUTH, forwardly positioned between rivals four wide for nearly a half, lacked a further response. VALUE DRIVER, outrun to the stretch, closed a late gap after angling seven or eight wide into the lane. MR ED M gained the advantage near the inside early, held on well for a half and weakened. DEVIL DAWG, slammed at the break by MALABAR MIDNIGHT, was steadied, settled in behind rivals and never menaced. MALABAR MIDNIGHT swerved out at the start and slammed DEVIL DAWG, then tired approaching the stretch.

Race Summary

HOLY WONDER set the pace from off the rail, was roused inside the eighth pole and was taken in hand late. LUNCH BOX raced close up inside, angled out and rallied for the place while not a threat. ELLUNA raced off the rail near the middle of the field and rallied but flattened out. SEA DOC raced near the middle of the field and lacked a rally. HOOSIER AMBASSADOR raced off the rail and weakened. AWKWARD MOMENT was never a factor. MALABAR MIDNIGHT trailed throughout.
