| Race Summary |
|
CURSORA (ARG) went up early to track front-running
KEYS under light rating, inched to challenge that one nearing the
stretch, gained the edge about the sixteenth pole and was hard
ridden the remainder. KEYS gained the edge inside early, went along
under careful handling, was engaged by the winner nearing the
stretch, was headed by that one a sixteenth out and held on
stubbornly the remainder. WRAPPED UP IN YOU, well placed in behind
the top two from early on, eased out between foes four wide, then
couldn't make up the difference. LEGISLADY settled near the inside
early, was never far back, remained near the rail in the late going
and couldn't produce the needed response. QUIERO GANAR raced within
easy striking distance while tracking the leaders five wide, loomed
menacingly for the final furlong but came up empty. MOON BERRY (BRZ)
raced within easy striking distance four wide to the upper stretch
and flattened out. LADYBURN maneuvered in three wide on the
backstretch, inched up on the far turn, came out six wide for the
drive but lacked a serious bid. MISS LAKEN raced near the inside
from early on and never threatened. AIMER, reserved three wide
early, came out five or six wide leaving the second turn but never
fired. |

TAKE THE RIBBON, lightly rated early while tracking
the dueling leaders three wide, moved four wide to wrest command in
the upper stretch, drew clear and continued under hand urging to
widen a bit. PRECIOUS KITTEN, hung seven wide on the first turn,
edged in a bit on the backstretch, raced five wide around the far
turn, again was seven wide for the drive and couldn't menace the
winner as second best. KICKIN' THE CLOUDS settled near the inside
early, was unhurried, swung out six wide entering the stretch and
offered a slight gain. PERFORMING DIVA tracked the pace four or five
wide throughout and was empty when the test came. LADYBURN, outrun
and near the inside throughout, improved position while not a
threat. CANDY MA'AM, reserved early and angled to the hedge, was
outrun to the lane, came out ten wide for the drive improved
position. BEAU DARE contested the pace four wide from early on
briefly reached the front a quarter-mile out but weakened soon
after. WALKLIKEANEGYPTIAN (IRE) failed to menace. IDLE QUEST gained
the lead while racing in the three path early, held a slight edge
while dueling through solid fractions inside BEAU DAR to the stretch
and gave way. AVALON PLACE faded after a half.

| Race Summary |
|
NOTTAWASAGA came out at the start bumping LADYBURN,
was taken in hand and positioned near the inside between foes,
inched closer from the rail around the far turn, came out and split
foes four wide leaving the eighth pole and drove clear. RASTA FARIAN
maneuvered in nicely during the early going to force the pace four
wide, gained a slight edge nearing the stretch, then couldn't handle
the winner in the late going. FANTASTIC SHIRL, well placed inside
from the outset, loomed menacingly three wide for the drive but
lacked a response. READY TO TALK, never far back and rated along
between foes, eased out five or six wide for the drive but failed to
produce a closing bid. CANDY MA'AM, within striking distance, moved
near the inside on the backstretch, eased out four or five wide,
remained a threat into the final furlong and flattened out. BLESS
YOU ducked in at the start bumping MY TALE, was steadied, was outrun
to the lane and not a serious threat while improving position.
LADYBURN, bumped at the start by the winner, was outrun to the lane
and passed tired foes. MY TALE, bumped at the start by BLESS YOU and
forced in, raced near the inside and failed to menace. BIG PRINCESS
was outrun. DELICATE DYNAMITE, in hand early while following the
leaders five wide, weakened upon going three-quarters. SECRET
WITNESS, well placed from early on while stalking the pace four
wide, held on well until nearing the final quarter and weakened
thereafter. EENY MEENY gained the lead early, maneuvered near the
inside, made the pace for six furlongs and gave way readily soon
after. |

|
SERENA'S CAT showed speed along the inside, drew
clear in early stretch, then was fully extended to hold sway while
drifting out. AZEVEDO outrun early, swung wide for the stretch run
and rallied to be just up for the place. SILVERSIDER rated off the
pace after clipping heels in the early going, was steadied a couple
of times when blocked in behind rivals racing into the stretch,
angled out and finished willingly while being edged for the place.
HAND ME DOWN chased the winner into the stretch and weakened. PSALMS
OF PRAISE reserved in striking position off the pace, had no
response when asked. DOUBLE DELTA chased the pace along the rail,
was steadied in behind the winner on the turn and again in early
stretch, then tired. LADYBURN allowed to settle after breaking
slowly, was steadied in behind HAND ME DOWN late and failed to
recover. ROAD TRACK'S JOY prompted the pace outside SERENA'S CAT
into the stretch, then faltered. |
