Race Summary

BUDDHA LADY set the pace through solid fractions while a bit off the rail, extended the lead on the far turn and drew off without being asked to win handily. GUAJILLA HONEY bumped with a rival at the start, was caught six wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was urged along while three to four wide on the far turn and earned the place while no match for the winner. SARDIS LAKE raced three wide on the first turn, chased the winner through the far turn and tired then was caught for the place. MISS FREE HOUSE broke awkwardly from the inside post, was a bit rank while saving ground on the first turn, steadied early on the backstretch, raced towards the front of the field, saved ground into the stretch and came up empty. PRETTY SONYA was rated while five wide on the first turn, dropped back while in tight midway down the backstretch, raced four to five wide on the far turn and failed to threaten. DIXIE DUST leaned out at the start and hit the gate then bumped with a rival, raced three wide on the first turn and was no factor. FULL PRICE came in a bit after the start, raced seven then six wide on the first turn, lingered near the back of the field, went four wide on the far turn and never reached contention. NERFERTITI was caught four wide on the first turn, raced up close to the pace, came up empty while three wide on the far turn and stopped. VERRE raced four to five wide on the first turn, lagged near the back of the field and faltered.

GUAJILLA HONEY raced three wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, ranged up while four wide on the far turn, took the lead passing the quarter-pole, drew clear in upper stretch and held under right hand urging. MEGGIEBIGBUCKS settled on the inside, moved closer on the far turn, hesitated inside the quarter-pole, rallied in upper stretch and closed well but failed to overtake the winner. WISH AGAIN was unhurried near the back of the field, swung out leaving the far turn, steadied off heels in upper stretch, rallied on the extreme outside and closed well to get up late. JOY OF THE DANCE raced three wide into the first turn then dropped to the rail, settled in the back half of the field, rallied inside on the far turn, closed well to make a bid near the furlong marker, battled with WISH AGAIN late and was outfinished. MAGIC STREAK was well placed just off the pace, shifted three wide near the quarter-pole, came four wide into the stretch, steadied off heels inside the three-sixteenths pole, made a bid passing the furlong marker and was also outfinished while able to get the show. COLONY SANDS broke outward and bumped with a rival, lingered well back in the field, was ridden along while off the rail on the far turn and improved position. SHIMMERING CLASSIC broke a bit awkwardly, dueled on the inside, drifted out near the three-sixteenths pole and gave way. BELLE'S EXPERIENCE was fractious in the gate, settled near the middle of the field, was urged along while three then four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, steadied inside the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. SUPER STAR BABY bumped with a rival at the start, raced three wide on the first turn, was forwardly placed, chased three wide on the far turn and tired. GUAJILLA HONEY broke out a bit at the start, raced four then three wide on the first turn, dueled on the outside, was carried out near the three-sixteenths pole and dropped out. TASTESLIKECHICKEN was well rated while setting the pace, responded well when set down and drew off under strong right hand urging. BRIDLED WILDCAT raced three wide on the first turn, tracked the leader down the backstretch, chased that rival on the far turn and proved no match while clear for the place. GUAJILLA HONEY was caught four wide on the first turn, lingered well back in the field, raced four wide early on the far turn, dropped in near the five-sixteenths pole, split rivals passing the furlong marker and got up for the show.
