STALWARTLY angled in at the back of the field,
saved ground on the turn, moved off the rail near the quarter-pole,
swung out at the top of the stretch and closed with a rush to get up
at the wire. CORREDOR DE PLATA chased the pace on the outside,
ranged up late on the turn, took the lead near the three-sixteenths
pole, edged clear in upper stretch, remained clear into the final
sixteenth but was denied at the wire. ALMOST CERTAIN lacked early
speed, saved ground on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and
closed well but missed. GUACAMOLE broke out slightly at the start,
was ridden along while off the pace, shifted four wide near the
quarter-pole, came five wide into the stretch and finished willingly
but missed the minor awards. SOUTHERN HUMOUR was urged along near
the middle of the field, raced three wide on the turn, came four
wide into the stretch, shifted in near the furlong marker and lacked
the needed response. DON'T TELL MOMMY was urged along while off the
pace, raced off the rail on the turn and came up empty. CASTLES IN
THE SKY stumbled at the start then was hustled, chased the solo
leader while off the rail, raced just off the rail on the turn and
tired. KATELYN'S PRIDE drifted out a bit after the start, was
hustled to the lead then sprinted clear, set the pace through fast
fractions, lost the lead at the top of the stretch and stopped.
