Race Summary

ALMOST A TEN had speed six wide then stalked outside, went three deep into the turn, angled in nearing the stretch, bid inside in the drive, gained a short lead in midstretch and kicked clear under a crack of the whip and steady handling. NOSEY BRITCHES vied for command four wide between horses then three deep on the turn, continued off the rail leaving the bend and edged a rival for second. LIL LEA went up inside to duel for the lead, battled along the rail on the turn and outside the winner in midstretch and held third. FIFTH BASE dueled between horses on the backstretch and most of the turn, continued outside a rival leaving the turn and weakened some in the final furlong. CALIFORNIA DEMON chased inside, came out leaving the turn and into the stretch, drifted back inside and lacked the needed rally. LA PETRA chased off the rail, came four wide into the stretch and could not summon the necessary response. JUST CHROME dueled five wide between horses then four wide on the turn and weakened. LYPHARD'S DANCER chased between horses then angled in on the backstretch, came out into the stretch and lacked a rally. MAD DUCK chased outside on the backstretch and turn, came five wide into the stretch and lacked a further response. WARREN'S ALOHAMOON settled outside then off the rail, went around a rival into the stretch and was not a factor. REGINA MADRE broke slowly, trailed off the rail to the stretch and failed to menace. BELLSBLADE stalked the pace inside, steadied in tight leaving the turn and weakened. SODA POP SYD had speed between horses then stalked a bit off the rail, continued outside a rival on the turn, was in tight leaving the turn and had little left for the stretch. A claim of foul by the rider of SODA POP SYD against the winner for alleged interference leaving the turn was not allowed by the stewards, who ruled the videotape failed to substantiate the claim.

LEGS THATDON'TQUIT chased inside, moved up on the turn, came out for room leaving the bend and rallied in late stretch to surge between foes under urging late. ALMOST A TEN sped to the early lead, set the pace inside, kicked clear and held on well but was caught late. AFLEET'S DESIRE chased between foes then outside, went four wide on the turn and three deep into the stretch and surged late four wide on the line. FIFTH BASE stalked inside then outside a rival on the turn, continued off the rail in the stretch and split foes on the line as the rider lost the whip at the finish. RUTHIE'S GIRL bumped at the start, settled off the rail, came out in the stretch and improved position. HAPPYHOUR ATHEBRIG stalked between horses on the backstretch and three deep on the turn and into the stretch and lacked a rally. CONTINENTAL DANCER between foes early, settled inside, rode the rail on the turn and failed to menace. MAKING HASTE stalked off the rail then inside into and on the turn and weakened in the stretch. LOVE MY ROSE chased wide between foes, continued off the rail on the turn and five wide into the stretch and did not rally. TUZZI TO NAZZY settled outside chasing the pace, went five wide on the turn and six wide into the stretch and lacked a further response. EXPLOITED DREAM stalked outside then three deep, was between horses on the turn and weakened. CANDYGRAM stalked between horses on the backstretch, angled in on the turn and also weakened. REALLY WILL unhurried a bit off the rail on the backstretch, angled in on the turn and was outrun. Race Summary

INTO REALITY broke out a bit, dueled outside a rival, put a head in front nearing the quarter pole, inched away in upper stretch then drew off under a tap on the shoulder and a steady hand ride while being shown the whip. INGRID THE GAMBLER stalked the pace off the rail or outside, came three deep into the stretch, drifted in through the drive but edged a rival for the place. MOUJANE broke out a bit, angled in and dueled inside, fought back on the turn, weakened some in the stretch but held third. PRIZE stalked outside then off the rail, went three deep into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. NICOLE'S IMAGE squeezed back at the start, settled a bit off the rail, swung four wide into the stretch and was not a threat. SPRING SYMPHONY chased off the inside, came three deep into the stretch and did not rally. DISTORTED VIEW pulled her way along to stalk the pace inside to the stretch and weakened. DIVINA off a bit slowly, settled inside, came out into the stretch and was not a factor. FIFTH BASE close up stalking the pace between horses, fell back a bit off the rail on the turn and weakened. SPRING CATCH unhurried outside then off the rail, angled in some on the turn and was done early.

GOLDILOCKS' CAT stalked the pace outside then three deep, dropped back between foes on the turn and also weakened. SAN ARROYO angled in and saved ground off the pace, came out in the stretch and was not a threat. SEKIRA broke a bit slowly, settled off the pace inside and failed to menace. MIA COUNTESS wide early, angled in outside a rival, continued off the rail on the turn and was outrun.
