| Race Summary |
|
ALMOST A TEN had speed six wide then stalked
outside, went three deep into the turn, angled in nearing the
stretch, bid inside in the drive, gained a short lead in midstretch
and kicked clear under a crack of the whip and steady handling.
NOSEY BRITCHES vied for command four wide between horses then three
deep on the turn, continued off the rail leaving the bend and edged
a rival for second. LIL LEA went up inside to duel for the lead,
battled along the rail on the turn and outside the winner in
midstretch and held third. FIFTH BASE dueled between horses on the
backstretch and most of the turn, continued outside a rival leaving
the turn and weakened some in the final furlong. CALIFORNIA DEMON
chased inside, came out leaving the turn and into the stretch,
drifted back inside and lacked the needed rally. LA PETRA chased off
the rail, came four wide into the stretch and could not summon the
necessary response. JUST CHROME dueled five wide between horses then
four wide on the turn and weakened. LYPHARD'S DANCER chased between
horses then angled in on the backstretch, came out into the stretch
and lacked a rally. MAD DUCK chased outside on the backstretch and
turn, came five wide into the stretch and lacked a further response.
WARREN'S ALOHAMOON settled outside then off the rail, went around a
rival into the stretch and was not a factor. REGINA MADRE broke
slowly, trailed off the rail to the stretch and failed to menace.
BELLSBLADE stalked the pace inside, steadied in tight leaving the
turn and weakened. SODA POP SYD had speed between horses then
stalked a bit off the rail, continued outside a rival on the turn,
was in tight leaving the turn and had little left for the stretch. A
claim of foul by the rider of SODA POP SYD against the winner for
alleged interference leaving the turn was not allowed by the
stewards, who ruled the videotape failed to substantiate the claim.

rival, put a head in front nearing the quarter pole, inched away in
upper stretch then drew off under a tap on the shoulder and a steady
hand ride while being shown the whip. INGRID THE GAMBLER stalked the
pace off the rail or outside, came three deep into the stretch,
drifted in through the drive but edged a rival for the place.
MOUJANE broke out a bit, angled in and dueled inside, fought back on
the turn, weakened some in the stretch but held third. PRIZE stalked
outside then off the rail, went three deep into the stretch and
lacked the needed rally. NICOLE'S IMAGE squeezed back at the start,
settled a bit off the rail, swung four wide into the stretch and was
not a threat. SPRING SYMPHONY chased off the inside, came three deep
into the stretch and did not rally. DISTORTED VIEW pulled her way
along to stalk the pace inside to the stretch and weakened. DIVINA
off a bit slowly, settled inside, came out into the stretch and was
