SCARLET DEPUTY raced along the rail and gave way. DISTINGUISHED ,
three wide, faltered. PLATINUM MAESTRO , two wide down the
backstretch, stopped and was eased. ROARING JACK circled the turn,

ground, angled out mid turn, rallied to a short lead in upper
stretch, dueled, had his rider lose his whip leaving the eighth pole
then prevailed under solid hand urging. FERROUS was sent wide early
to go clear, angled in and set the pace, came two wide for the
drive, was headed in upper stretch, dueled inside the winner and
continued gamely. PLATINUM MAESTRO , taken to rate while saving
ground, angled out nearing the lane but lacked a solid bid. THUNDER
CHARM saved ground into the lane and came up empty. WITH PLEASURE
was rated back after an alert beginning, stalked the pace for a half
mile then dropped back. AGUERRI was outrun. DR. NITRO , sluggish
from the gate, was always well back. |

JEN'S REVENGE prompted the pace while saving
ground, angled out near the three eighths pole, forged clear in
upper stretch and widened under a drive. DON CE SAR broke a step
slow, saved ground, advanced in hand leaving the half mile marker,
angled out for the drive and finished willingly to gain the place.
EQUISETUM JAZZ set a pressured pace two wide and gave way
grudgingly. BET THE MOON stalked the pace four wide and gave way in
upper stretch. SUWANNEE vied three wide and faded in upper stretch.
MOONLIT GETAWAY saved ground, steadied in upper stretch, angled out
lacked a solid bid. SPICY VOW , fractious pre race, was outrun.
NATUREL RESOURCES lost ground four wide and failed to respond.
FERROUS was in tight at the break and faltered. CLUB TANGO faltered.

AVONIAN raced close up along the inside, came out
for the drive then ran down the leader and held off the challenge of
MOTION TO STRIKE under strong handling. MOTION TO STRIKE raced close
up outside rivals and responded well in the drive to finish second
best. BIG MAN SETH vied for the lead from the outset then faded in
the drive. DANCIN' DIXIE CAT was shuffled back after the start then
failed to threaten. HERE COMES SYDNEY was steadied between rivals
entering the turn. PULPIANO saved ground disputing the pace and
weakened in the drive. FERROUS was outrun. EARLY NOTE showed little.

DEPUTY'S HONOR sprinted clear early, set a quick
pace then was all out to last late. THEYCALLMETATER angled off the
rail early, chased the winner, drifted wide into the stretch then
finished well outside late to just miss. SEIZE MOMENTUM was void of
speed for a half, swung wide into the stretch then closed a gap too
late. CUMBERLAND raced evenly. GLORIOUS SUNRISE flashed brief speed.
FERROUS was bumped at the break, angled off the rail into the
stretch but had no rally. SOMETINSPECTACULAR was no factor. ONE
PUNCH SONNY stopped. |

|
WONDER MON , four wide early, angled in nearing the
three eighths pole, steadily advanced along the inside into the
lane, eased out for room in mid stretch, responded to stout left
handed encouragement, forged to command late and went clear at the
wire. REGAL SOLO dueled inside, shook clear in upper stretch, was
collared near the sixteenth marker and gave way grudgingly. TAKE A
LEAP was angled out nearing the half mile marker, chased the dueling
leaders around the turn, came four wide for the drive and finished
willingly to gain the show. FERROUS , three wide around the turn
while chasing the pace, faded through the final furlong. BROTHER
WILL , away well, chased the leaders off the rail, came five wide
into the lane, drifted out a bit and gave way. X RATED CAT dueled
two to three wide while on a short lead, was overtaken while three
wide into the lane then surrendered leaving the furlong marker.
MONEY FOR LOVE lacked speed, raced three to four wide in upper
stretch and failed to respond. PERFECT EYE saved ground and failed
to threaten. ALONG CAME REAGAN was outrun. |
