EXPECT A NOTE broke inward but soon gained a spot
along the rail for the trip through the first turn, well rated on
the lead, began to edge away nearing the three-eighths pole, roused
at the eight pole to a clear win. VALID COMMITMENT brushed out of
the starting gate, settled, asked for more nearing the three-eighths
pole, was four wide on the second turn, loomed briefly as a threat
to the leader at the eighth-pole but gave way. FEISTY MEISTER went
into the opening turn three wide to track the early lead, was two
wide on the second turn, couldn't get to the winner and grudgingly
gave way while losing the place. SUDDENLY KOOL was three wide on the
first turn, tracked nicely behind the leaders, went through the
second turn four wide and did not threaten the top three. GENUINE
TEXAN was a bit unsettled in the starting gate, traveled through the
opening turn six wide yet settled just behind the leader, asked for
run nearing the quarter-pole while three wide and faded. F P DEE
AMANTEE was five wide on the first turn, pulled shortly after the
opening quarter mile, waited for room just past the three-eighths
pole and did not advance after that. CATAPULT SHOT broke through the
gate prior to the start but quickly was handled by the assistant
starter and reloaded, was four wide through the first turn, raced
midpack and did not advance. FORMAL TONE broke sharply but soon
found the back of the pack, did not threaten. SCOVILLE HEAT bobbled
coming out of the starting gate, settled behind the leaders but was
caught seven wide going into the first turn, raced toward the back
and did not advance. BUSTED BISCUIT went through the first turn
seven wide and showed little after that. |

the rest. MAGICAL CHOYCE broke out a bit at the start, was rated on
the inside, chased while saving ground on the far turn and also came
up empty. POLISH RED raced three wide on the first turn, stalked the
pace, jostled with a rival near the half-mile pole, jostled with
that rival again leaving the backstretch, raced three wide on the

failed to threaten. MAGIC LETTERS lagged well back in the field and

| Race Summary |
|
PROFITABLE ORBIT was unhurried early then rallied
in the stretch, was gaining ground strongly in late stretch and
angled out to be four wide and was up in the final strides. JONES
POWER vied for the early lead while inside, drew off in upper
stretch then was under strong pressure in late stretch while
drifting out and could not last in the final strides. IRISH CHIEF
was settled while racing three wide going into the turn, swung out
to be six wide in upper stretch and closed strongly in late stretch
to finished well. SER RHINO vied for the early lead while three wide
then lost ground coming out of the turn and was sat down to be in a
long drive and gamely dug in but hung in late stretch. EXPECT A NOTE
dwelt at the start and spotted the field many lengths, was hustled
along and was no menace in the stretch. KRIS'S IMPULSE vied for the
early lead while two wide then was squeezed slightly when entering
the turn and lacked a rally in the stretch drive. BOSTAR while
racing inside was through after a half and stopped.

match for the winner. BALTIC SECRET dueled on the outside then
between rivals, led into the final furlong and weakened. C. ME
LEAVIN chased the pace on the outside, raced five then four wide on
the turn, took a brief lead passing the quarter-pole, battled into
the final furlong and tired. EXPECT A NOTE was off slow, raced well
off the pace, went five wide on the turn and failed to threaten.
HICKORY GROVE ROAD broke inward and bumped with a rival, raced near
the middle of the field, was in a bit tight leaving the backstretch,
went four wide on the turn and came up empty. LIFT ME UP pressed the
pace, vied three wide on the turn and faded. COMIC STRIP EYES veered
in at the start, dueled on the inside and also faded. DERBY CRAFT
lugged out nearing the turn and bumped with CLOCKWISE, raced four to

early on the turn, shifted in near the five-sixteenths pole and

the turn and faded. TEXAS TALL TALE bumped hard with a rival at the
