|
ASK MOLLY , patiently rated, advanced along the
rail nearing the quarter pole, angled out four wide in mid stretch,
responded when roused right handed, closed steadily, raced under
steady hand pressure late and was along in time. GERSHOWITZ was sent
clear, set the pace just off the inside, increased her lead mid way
on the final turn, remained well clear leaving the eighth pole,
continued gamely but just could not hold off the winner. KING'S
LASSIE stalked the pace off the rail, made a mild four wide run
nearing the quarter pole, finished willing but was outfinished. FEEL
THE DANCE settled in good position, was roused along the rail
nearing the quarter pole but came up empty in the drive. WHAT A
SENSATION lodged a mild rail bid around the first turn, rated back
off of the leader and angled out entering the backstretch, stalked
the pace then weakened in upper stretch. GRAN AMIGA (ARG) , off the
rail down the backstretch, failed to respond.

|
GRACEFUL VERSE , bumped at the break, quickly
recovered and prompted a contested pace while three wide, moved
clear nearing the three eighths pole, opened up into the lane then
held sway under a drive. CARNI DAS , never far back while off the
rail, advanced three wide into the lane, raced on her left lead and
finished gamely. ASK MOLLY lacked speed while off the rail, raced
six wide in the drive and closed willingly. AGUARA , away alertly,
dueled two wide down the backstretch, battled between rivals around
the far turn, shifted out for the drive and continued on willingly.
GOLDEN MIRROR broke outward then bobbled after bumping with the
winner, was sent up inside of AGUARA, dueled to the three and a half
furlong marker then faded. EASY WAY , between rivals early, failed
to menace. GRAN AMIGA (ARG) was outrun. |

|
ASK MOLLY raced close up inside, split horses
turning for home, rallied in the stretch and held sway at the wire.
WILD COUNTESS lacked speed off the rail, came five wide into the
stretch, gained through the lane and did not miss by much. VELVET
PEAKS raced off the rail near the middle of the field, made a bit in
the stretch then could not finish with the top two. THAT'S A SECRET
was fractious in the gate, set the pace from off the rail and tired.
CALICO N' LACE pressed the pace from the inside and weakened.
ANOTHER JOY lacked speed inside, came four wide into the stretch and
was not a factor. ROUSES POINT raced near the middle of the field
and gave way. |

ASK MOLLY settled inside early, moved around LOVE
ON TAP midway down the backstretch, bid four wide nearing the drive,
took over and drew out while ridden out. ROUSES POINT unhurried,
moved up three wide before the drive and then while no match for the
winner was game for second. WINDIVA set the pace until the second
turn, was collared and then got out kicked for second. JAZZY QUEEN
hustled up around the first turn to stalk WINDIVA, bid outside that
one before the drive and then faded. LOVE ON TAP was outrun. ICKY
TICK showed little. WEAR MY RING got out entering the first turn and
was no threat. PANCHOS IRISH GAL gave way after a half.

SALTY BOO vied outside ASK MOLLY down the
backstretch, gained the edge nearing the drive, shook clear a
furlong out, drifted out late and prevailed. OH WHAT A FEELING off
last, moved to the rail down the backstretch, advanced approaching
the turn, was switched out to mid track midway around the turn and
then closed mildly. MOON MENOW reluctant to load, raced back early,
saved ground around the turn, eased out after entering the drive,
split foes while showing late interest. GRAND APPEAL forwardly
placed, loomed a quarter out and then flattened out. ASK MOLLY
dueled for the lead from the inside to the drive and then faltered.
JUST HOT was outrun. DAISY FOR RUBIANO raced wide and was no factor.
SMOKE AND CON raced wide and was outrun. HANNAH'S CREEK was always
back. RUBY RUBY DOO showed speed to the turn and then gave way.

SUSIE Q had no speed, rallied wide for the drive and was up for
place in the late stages. ASK MOLLY stalked four wide, took over
into the stretch but could not last. SECOND WINDY raced evenly and
lacked the late response needed. SATIABLE unhurried early, improved
her position while no real threat. PONTOOSUC unseated her rider in
the post parade, pressed early and gave way in the drive. YES ITS
YOU good speed inside for a half but weakened in the stretch drive.
OUR DEPUTY'S LADY failed to menace. IMA YANKEE ROOKIE was through
early. KAREN CALLING was also through early inside. UMFULA was never
close. |

JUSTICE, outsprinted early, made a bold run five wide into the lane,
gained a narrow advantage between calls in the final furlong but
couldn't contain the winner's surge. STEAL THE SHOW tracked the pace
four or five wide, took over in the upper stretch and weakened late.
MAJESTIC STORM dueled for the lead while four wide early, made the
pace until the stretch and tired. ASK MOLLY, never far back, loomed
a threat while near the inside between foes for the final furlong
and failed to fire. BECKY'S CAT stalked the pace five wide, raced
prominently into the final furlong and flattened out. HUNNY ON ICE
failed to rally. MY MUCHACHA tired after a half. LOVES BADGE, outrun
from the start, raced near the inside, ducked in and hit the inner
railing at the three-sixteenths pole. SHIRLEY AND SALLYE broke well,
quickly fell back and never menaced. EXPLOIT'S TICKET stalked the
pace to the stretch while five wide and tired. STRIPED contested the
pace inside early, stopped on the turn, then was pulled up in deep
stretch. |

Molly is yelling for food. I think she needs to run back in a
msw. Probably won't be until Keeneland as she needs time to
refresh. I am impressed with her constitution. If it set up we
might try late Turfway as it would be easier than Keeneland. We'll let her
tell us when she is ready.
ON Truffle she might not have got the idea of racing and didn't get help
from Greta. that 5 wide effort and letting a horse come inside her early
could have confused her e.g. when they gallop they are out from rail with horses
working inside and vice versa. If Greta didn't ask early she just didn't
put herself in the race. Mucous and bleeding also could have bothered
her. I was suprised she bled off that effort. Dissapointing all
around. She looks ready to run back now but we have to wait 15 days due to
bleeding and getting her on lasix list. May try grass at Kentucky Downs,
may try longer at AP on dirt (no grass msw there). can't run her at 50 yet
as AP trainers know her and may blame poor performance on Greta. Others
doing well.
2nd well looks like going pretty smoothly and pipeline is ready.
Signed amendment.
Worried my picks won't flow as fast as yours.
