| Race Summary |
|
EYE WONDER set the pace, shook off AXEL PEGASUS
leaving the turn and drew off while kept to task. AXEL PEGASUS
chased the winner through the turn and proved no match while well
clear for the place. NITE FUN came in slightly at the start, lacked
early speed, raced three then four wide on the turn and narrowly
earned the show. GAYLE'S IRISH LAD came in at the start, moved up
near the inside, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. STORMY
UPRISING was ridden along while off the pace, raced three wide on
the turn and failed to threaten. PORT LIGHT broke a bit slow, raced
well back in the field, shifted four wide midway through the turn
and never reached contention. CRUSADER'S CHOICE was ridden along
near the middle of the field, moved in to save ground on the turn
and failed to respond. LION ON THE PROWL was urged along on the
outside, came up empty while off the rail on the turn and retreated.
ALL SAMBA came in a bit at the start, raced well back throughout and
showed little. |
